    Research Statement:
Our group is focusing on the methods of DualDual Immersion Education, the benefits,Education and its methodologies, although has limitations, are beneficial and effectiveness of this processeffective for second
Second Language Learners are individuals who are in the process of learning another language other than their primary language. We are interested in learning how Dual Immersion Programs affect test scores, how many schools use it, and how Dual Immersion affects classrooms, teachers, and the learning process of students. We expect to learn that Dual Immersion Education is beneficial to students in aiding their understanding and test scores with research supporting our assumption.
Dual-immersion incorporates native speakers of the two target languages and through interaction these individuals can learn from each other. Therefore, through this practice, students are involved in a more natural language acquisition process. Students of these programs not only learn another language but gain insight and a greater understanding of heritage and culture that is outside of their own.

Has DI gained in popularity? The number of dual immersion programs has doubled since 2006.
    Conclusion
Concluding statementstatement: There are many benefits to dual immersion education. For students its acquiring a second language, becoming more culturally well rounded and aware members of the community, success in keeping up or exceeding their traditionally schooled peers.
    Analytical statement
    Recommendation
statement: Although dual immersion programs are beneficial to students and communities, there are also limitations and room for growth within these programs such as finding qualified teachers and equally diverse classrooms.
Recommendation: Bilingual education is a great step in education reform and is gaining in popularity throughout California and the U.S. We recommend that in order for these programs to continue to grow and succeed, teachers need to be offered more relevant training, have enough resources to create successful students, more bilingual administrators need to be hired, and classrooms need to be as equally diverse as possible.

The sources we found most helpful were the ones that provided an overview of Dual Immersion Programs and listed the programs benefactors and purposes. The article developed at The University of California Irvine was helpful in the ways it provides us with research on backgrounds of bilingual education. It also encouraged parents to enroll their students in these programs based off of their remarkable findings on the program's benefits. Also, the sources that discuss two-way immersion programs are helpful because they allow readers to understand the breakdown of DI. It provides methods often used by these programs and the top targeted languages that these programs include.

Have you changed anything in how you search, evaluate, and use information?
Before starting our Paper Trail Project we thought that we were pretty good with technology but when we were told to create a wiki we felt totally lost. None of us knew what it was or how to create one. Once we found a topic to search we thought that our project was going to get easier but it didn't. We had to pick the web sites that were fairly new and not something that was out dated. We were to evaluate the webs and see which ones were relevant and which ones were less relevant. Overall, it was a long process and it will be beneficial to take into consideration all the great information that we learned when it comes to researching. I think we will definitely change how we search and evaluate information in our future projects.

After reviewing our group's outline, the research we provided still show a gap on the effectiveness of Dual Immersion programs in the Fresno County area. There are many sources taken place in Irvine and other parts of California, but none in areas close to our community. Also, even though our sources provided great research on how effective and beneficial DI is, the sources still leave a gap in how far these programs have progressed in popularity. After we all came up with sources, we noticed that none of our research provided information about how many DI programs there are in America and if they are rising in school systems.
